At ITU TÖMER, our Turkish courses consist of a total of 5 levels in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR): basic levels A1 and A2; intermediate levels B1 and B2; and the advanced level C1.
In our classes, course materials appropriate for our students' proficiency levels are used. Throughout the educational process, an integrated, skill-based, and student-centered teaching approach is adopted, and the language learning experience is supported by interactive and collaborative learning activities.
Classes for the A1, A2, B1, B2, and C1 levels are conducted face-to-face in the MedA Building at the Ayazağa Campus.
To provide opportunities for everyone who wishes to learn Turkish, our ITU TÖMER classes are scheduled in two different formats: weekday daytime and evening programs. In the daytime program, our A1 and A2 levels last 8 weeks each, our B1 and B2 levels last 9 weeks each, and our C1 level lasts 10 weeks. In the evening program, our A1 and A2 levels last 10 weeks each, our B1 and B2 levels last 12 weeks each, and our C1 level lasts 13 weeks.
Flexible course schedules can be arranged based on student requests or for special groups.
