Computer-assisted language learning (CALL) technologies aim to provide students with tools to support their face-to-face language education. Today, with the increasing importance of these technologies, foreign language learning has turned into a research area that requires a high degree of interdisciplinary work. İTÜ TÖMER provides a research and practice area for our academic and administrative staff, working in the fields of teaching Turkish and other languages as a foreign language - as well as enabling them to produce scientific outputs in these fields and to organize various national/international scientific meetings. Our expert researchers in the areas of artificial intelligence, natural language processing, language learning, computer and cognitive sciences carry out their research to contribute to Turkish language learning within the body of İTÜ TÖMER.
