ITU TÖMER, in collaboration with the Natural Language Processing Research Group within ITU’s Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering, is working on AI-powered software aimed at facilitating Turkish language learning for foreigners. Reported by Anadolu Agency, this project is led by ITU TÖMER Director, Prof. Dr. Gülşen Eryiğit. The project focuses on developing a system that utilizes natural language processing technologies to automatically detect and correct language usage errors.

Through this collaboration, an innovative approach to teaching Turkish is being adopted, featuring personalized education and curricula tailored to demographic needs, making Turkish learning more effective.
