Yes, you can enroll. To do so, you must fill in the registration form, take a photo of the information pages of your passport, pay the fee for the course(s) falling within the period for which you wish to obtain a visa, and send us (tomer@itu.edu.tr) the registration form, the commitment letter, the identity page of your passport, and the payment receipt. We will send you, by e-mail, an acceptance letter prepared in your name. With this acceptance letter, you must come to Türkiye by obtaining a Turkish Language Course Visa. The course is planned to start on SEPTEMBER 28, 2026. The date may be postponed depending on the number of students.

Yes, you can apply for a visa. However, your application must be for a "Turkish Language Course" visa, not a "study" visa. In addition, ITU TÖMER does not guarantee that your visa application will necessarily result in a positive outcome. For questions regarding the visa, you should consult the embassies and consulates of the Republic of Türkiye.

After obtaining the visa, you must enter the country no later than 10 days before the course start date. (Entering Türkiye too early or too late relative to the course start date causes difficulties with official procedures.) Following this, the ITU TÖMER registration process must be completed in person within one week at the latest. Those who do not come to TÖMER are considered not to have completed the registration process and cannot obtain a residence permit. The pre-registration of those who do not complete the registration process is cancelled, and the fee they have paid is not refunded. The Presidency of Migration Management is informed about these persons, and proceedings are initiated for their removal from the country.

Yes, the fee you paid for the invitation letter will be applied toward the course fee. If you are unable to obtain a visa or cannot start the course for any reason, we are unable to refund this fee.

Embassies may decline to issue a Turkish language course visa after reviewing the applicant's situation. Our university bears no responsibility in this matter. Fees paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances. Those who pay the fee are deemed to have accepted this condition from the outset.

Our university does not have dormitory accommodation for ITU TÖMER students. However, there are private dormitories and houses available in the city and in the area where the university is located. We do not provide any accommodation service.

To obtain a residence permit, you must hold a Turkish Course Visa. Within one month after entering Türkiye and completing your final registration at ITU TÖMER, you must make an appointment through e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr. When making the appointment, you should select "Short-Term Residence Permit" as the type of residence permit. The Presidency of Migration Management may decline to issue a residence permit after reviewing the applicant's situation. Our university bears no responsibility in this matter.
