According to the Application and Enrollment Regulations for the Acceptance of International Students to our University's Undergraduate Programs, international students studying at our University who are enrolled in 100% English programs must provide a B1 Turkish language certificate within one year, while those enrolled in 30% English programs must provide a C1 Turkish language certificate before beginning their undergraduate studies.

As per the decision numbered 820 of the Istanbul Technical University (ITU) Senate, dated December 22, 2022, starting from the 2023-2024 Academic Year, only Turkish language proficiency certificates obtained from the ITU Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center (TÖMER) or the Yunus Emre Institute will be considered valid.

Other certificates will NOT be accepted.
