ITU TÖMER continues to teach Turkish and Turkish culture by experiencing it. The trip we organized to "Karaköy" on Thursday, February 29, with the participation of our students from A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels was very entertaining and instructive.

First of all, we left Şişhane metro and arrived in Galata by walking among the historical streets. After eating hot simits made in Galata's famous stone oven and drinking our tea, we came to Istanbul Modern, Turkey's first modern and contemporary art museum, located in Karaköy. Our students practiced speaking Turkish to each other by commenting on the exhibited works.

The last stop of our trip was the famous baklava place in Karaköy. We had the pleasure of ending our trip, which started with enthusiasm, with the pleasure of tasting Turkish flavors.
